More than 200 Palestinian, regional, and international organisations express their solidarity with the designated seven leading Palestinian civil society organisations, Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, Al-Haq Law in the Service of Man (Al-Haq), Bisan Center for Research and Development, Defense for Children International-Palestine (DCI-P), Health Work Committees (HWC), the Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), and the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees (UPWC).
We implore the international community to strongly condemn Israel’s targeting of the Palestinian civil society and its strategies for further suppressing the right to free expression. States must take all necessary steps to support, defend, and safeguard the ongoing efforts of Palestinian human rights advocates.
