Tras dos meses de protestas mayoritariamente pac\u00edficas en Colombia, agentes de las fuerzas armadas siguen cometiendo graves violaciones a los derechos humanos de forma generalizada, como se detalla en este dossier. Las organizaciones de derechos humanos colombianas y miembros del Grupo NGO-LAC en Ginebra1, respaldadas por m\u00e1s de 300 organizaciones de todo el mundo hacen un llamado al Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU, que se lleva a cabo actualmente en Ginebra, para que condene la brutal represi\u00f3n hacia las y los manifestantes y pidan investigaciones independientes. La declaraci\u00f3n conjunta es la segunda despu\u00e9s de un llamado global a la actuaci\u00f3n de la comunidad internacional al inicio del Consejo por parte de organizaciones de derechos humanos.<\/p>

\u201cLa violencia policial no es nueva en Colombia, como se evidenci\u00f3 en septiembre de 2020, cuando polic\u00edas torturaron y mataron a un civil indefenso y luego mataron a otros 13 en los d\u00edas siguientes\u201d dijo Ana Mar\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez, subdirectora de la Comisi\u00f3n Colombiana de Juristas. \u201cLo que no tiene precedentes es la escala de la represi\u00f3n y la crueldad de las actuaciones de los agentes de la fuerza p\u00fablica que incluyen ejecuciones extrajudiciales, tortura, violencia sexual y la desaparici\u00f3n forzada de cientos de manifestantes pac\u00edficos\u00bb a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Oscar Ram\u00edrez, abogado de la Campa\u00f1a Defender La Libertad: un asunto de todas.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

De acuerdo a la Campa\u00f1a Defender La Libertad, desde el inicio de las protestas el 28 de abril y hasta el 28 de junio se han reportado 83 homicidios, que incluyen al menos 27 v\u00edctimas a manos del Escuadr\u00f3n M\u00f3vil Antidisturbios (ESMAD). Un n\u00famero significativo de muertes atribuidas a civiles armados sin identificar, que a menudo act\u00faan con la complicidad de los agentes de las fuerzas armadas del Estado. 80 personas han sufrido lesiones oculares y otras 114 heridas de bala. Alrededor de 3.200 manifestantes han sido detenidos arbitrariamente sin garant\u00edas a su derecho a un debido proceso, lo que los ha expuesto a torturas y tratos crueles, inhumanos y degradantes. Las organizaciones de la sociedad civil que hacen parte de la Campa\u00f1a y documentan estas violaciones a los derechos humanos tambi\u00e9n han registrado golpizas, pu\u00f1etazos con objetos contundentes, descargas el\u00e9ctricas, amenazas de desaparici\u00f3n forzada, desnudez forzada y violencia sexual y de g\u00e9nero, incluida la violaci\u00f3n. Muchas de estas conductas no se est\u00e1n investigando y, para aquellas graves irregularidades donde s\u00ed hay investigaciones, estas est\u00e1n en manos de la justicia penal militar o no avanzan con la transparencia y la celeridad que las v\u00edctimas necesitan para obtener justicia.<\/p>
