\u00a0 Los retos que plantean la movilidad humana y la migraci\u00f3n son actualmente una de las mayores preocupaciones de nuestra sociedad. En este contexto complejo y cambiante, alrededor del 14 % de los migrantes del mundo son ni\u00f1os<\/strong>. Esto significa que m\u00e1s de 34,7 millones de ni\u00f1os se desplazan por el mundo cada a\u00f1o.<\/strong><\/p>

La migraci\u00f3n supone un gran n\u00famero de desaf\u00edos para los ni\u00f1os y sus familias.<\/strong> Son personas que han sido expuestas a situaciones de\u00a0pobreza y violencia, factores que obligan a los migrantes a abandonar su pa\u00eds de origen, y enfrentarse al aislamiento y el miedo de llegar a un pa\u00eds de acogida.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Nuestro\u00a0trabajo para los ni\u00f1os n\u00f3madas incluye\u00a0ni\u00f1os migrantes, ni\u00f1os refugiados, ni\u00f1os que buscan asilo, ni\u00f1os desplazados internamente, ni\u00f1os ap\u00e1tridas y ni\u00f1os v\u00edctimas de la trata<\/strong>. La preocupaci\u00f3n por la violaci\u00f3n de los derechos y la protecci\u00f3n de este gran grupo de ni\u00f1os ha aumentado r\u00e1pidamente a medida que el n\u00famero de ni\u00f1os ha aumentado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os debido a conflictos armados, desastres humanitarios y fallas econ\u00f3micas en muchos pa\u00edses. A nivel internacional, DNI es parte de la Iniciativa Global sobre los Derechos del Ni\u00f1o<\/strong>, que tiene como objetivo incluir los principios de los derechos del ni\u00f1o en el Pacto Mundial para la Migraci\u00f3n Segura y Ordenada, y el Pacto Mundial para refugiados. Tambi\u00e9n participamos en el grupo de trabajo interinstitucional sobre la eliminaci\u00f3n de la detenci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os inmigrantes<\/strong>, y colaboramos regularmente con otros mecanismos y agencias de derechos humanos para tratar con los ni\u00f1os en movimiento.<\/p>\n

El r\u00e1pido aumento en el n\u00famero de ni\u00f1os que viajan a menudo se asocia con la detenci\u00f3n en malas condiciones. A nivel nacional, los secciones nacionales de DNI trabajo por los ni\u00f1os n\u00f3madas en varios proyectos, programas y actividades, que incluyen\u00a0asistencia directa, desarrollo de capacidades, promoci\u00f3n y defensa<\/strong>. Las secciones de\u00a0DNI de Guinea-Conakry, Sierra Leona y Liberia<\/strong>\u00a0colaboraron en el \u00e1rea del tr\u00e1fico de ni\u00f1os. Este proyecto conjunto involucr\u00f3 el\u00a0fortalecimiento de la capacidad de los funcionarios de seguridad fronteriza, l\u00edderes comunitarios y organizaciones de la sociedad civil para prevenir y combatir el tr\u00e1fico transfronterizo de ni\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Adem\u00e1s, debido a la gran cantidad de refugiados que llegan al L\u00edbano, nuestra secci\u00f3n nacional ha trabajado con un total de\u00a01 800 ni\u00f1os en 2017<\/strong>, principalmente en protecci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n. En Europa, las sucursales de\u00a0DNI en Grecia, Italia y los Pa\u00edses Bajos<\/strong>\u00a0est\u00e1n trabajando con los ni\u00f1os migrantes y solicitantes de asilo que llegan a su pa\u00eds a trav\u00e9s de la\u00a0asistencia legal y la capacitaci\u00f3n de profesionales<\/strong>.
