Graduado por el Institute of International and Development Studies (Ginebra-Suiza), as\u00ed como por la Ecole Nationale d\u2019Administration (ENA-Francia), adem\u00e1s de un m\u00e1ster en gesti\u00f3n del sector no lucrativo (Roma-Italia), el Sr. Kamarotos tiene una amplia experiencia en organizaciones internacionales, incluidos 20 a\u00f1os en asuntos humanitarios, derechos humanos y derechos del ni\u00f1o, tanto en las Naciones Unidas como en ONG. Tambi\u00e9n ha sido director de importantes programas de la UE para la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea, as\u00ed como antiguo Director General Adjunto encargado de Asuntos Internacionales y Europeos de la regi\u00f3n francesa Provenza-Alpes-Costa Azul. De 2009 a 2016, Director General Adjunto de la Public Services International (PSI, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), una federaci\u00f3n mundial de sindicatos que trabajan en la promoci\u00f3n de los servicios p\u00fablicos de calidad y los derechos sindicales, con afiliados en m\u00e1s de 150 pa\u00edses, Alex Kamarotos es el Director Ejecutivo de la Secretar\u00eda Internacional de Defensa de Ni\u00f1as y Ni\u00f1os Internacional (DNI) en Ginebra desde noviembre de 2016.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Nacida y educada en Francia, Cecile tiene un M\u00e1ster en Derecho de los Derechos Humanos por la Universidad de Derecho y Ciencias Pol\u00edticas de Estrasburgo, con especializaci\u00f3n en los derechos de las minor\u00edas. Desde que se uni\u00f3 a DNI a principios de 2019, Cecile ha estado a cargo del programa internacional de la Alianza para la Defensa de las Ni\u00f1as, as\u00ed como apoyando a las secciones nacionales de DNI con el desarrollo de capacidades sobre mecanismos internacionales de rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y orientaci\u00f3n sobre gesti\u00f3n de proyectos. Tiene experiencia profesional tanto en el sector privado como en el p\u00fablico, repartida entre el trabajo como oficial junior de seguimiento y evaluaci\u00f3n en el \u00e1mbito humanitario y puestos relacionados con las pol\u00edticas en ONGs y organismos de las Naciones Unidas. Entre sus logros significativos, ha sido miembro de equipos de evaluaci\u00f3n independientes con mandato del PMA, AFD y DG ECHO para supervisar la protecci\u00f3n y las operaciones humanitarias en emergencias complejas, incluidas visitas de campo en Burkina Faso y N\u00edger en 2018 y 2019. Desde 2019, Sasha ocupa el cargo de Responsable de Incidencia , encargada de velar por el avance y la protecci\u00f3n de los derechos del ni\u00f1o ante los mecanismos internacionales y de la ONU en materia de derechos humanos, como el Consejo de Derechos Humanos y el Comit\u00e9 de los Derechos del Ni\u00f1o. Sasha tambi\u00e9n aboga por el Estudio Mundial de las Naciones Unidas sobre los Ni\u00f1os Privados de Libertad, incluida su difusi\u00f3n y seguimiento. Sasha es licenciada por la Universidad de Grenoble-Alpes (Francia), donde curs\u00f3 una doble licenciatura en Derecho y Lenguas Extranjeras, y posteriormente obtuvo un m\u00e1ster en Derecho Internacional tras redactar una tesina sobre las violaciones de los derechos humanos por parte de empresas transnacionales.
