DCI-Zambia/Ubuchingo works to protect and promote children’s rights. “Ubuchingo” is a word in Bemba, a local Zambian language, meaning “protection.” Ten years ago, a few professional women started a small association in Northern Province to speak up on violence against children, which had become a huge problem in their area. Ubuchingo joined the DCI Global Movement to expand its impact. DCI-Zambia/Ubuchingo’s main priorities include:
