DCI – Italy Responds to Typhoon Haiyan

In collaboration with The Filipino Women’s Council, DCI Italy is helping raise funds to support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Members of the Filipino community of Italy, comprising of over 160,000 people, have worked with DCI to help the displaced and impoverished victims of Haiyan. “The proximity and the support to the Filipino Community in Italy represents the way for us to be actively close to the children struck by this tragedy but also to those who must face the difficulties of the reconstruction” declares Pippo Costella, Director of Defence for Children Italy.
