DCI-Brazil/ANCED participated in the development of the first resolution to protect children in the context of migration in Brazil

Brazil recently approved a law on children in the context of migration, the first resolution to address this topic in the country.

DCI-Brazil/ANCED participated in the development of this resolution, drafted and approved by the National Committee on the Rights of the Child and Adolescent jointly with the National Committee on Immigration and the Office of Public Defenders.

The aim of the resolution is to protect stateless and foreign children and adolescents, especially with regards the procedures of separated or unaccompanied migrant children and immigrants on Brazilian national territory.
