9th International Conference on Children’s Rihgts and the Protection of minors: “To Better Protect Children in Switzerland: Ban All Corporal Punishment?”

3-4 May 2018, Bern, Switzerland

The 9th International Conference focusing on Children’s Rights and the Protection of minors, co-sponsored by DCI and organized by The Centre for Children’s Right Studies of the University of Geneva, in collaboration with its close academic partners, will this year take place on the 3rd and 4th May 2018 in Bern (Switzerland). Organized within the scope of the Centre for Children Right studies’ continuing contribution to the Swiss Center for Expertise in Human Rights, the upcoming Conference represents a continuation of the research carried out by the organizing institutions on children’s rights and the protection of minors and aims to welcome professional participants from all fields of work at the national, cantonal and municipal levels, including the media, politicians and students to feed upon the ongoing research relevant to children’s rights and the protection of minors by participating in an interdisciplinary dialogue that nourishes both action on the field and scientific research.
