1st edition of the Uruguayan Journal of Children’s Rights

DCI Uruguay and “El Centro Cooperativo Uruguayo” have just published the first edition of a journal specialized in children’s rights, this publication is dedicated to Juvenile Criminal Justice.

This magazine is the result of the joint work of legal experts and professionals who have participated in different training sessions and analysis carried out by the Cooperative Center of Research and Training for Human Development, within the framework of the cooperation agreement with the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF. The objective is to contribute to raising awareness in the field of children’s rights.

This issue is dedicated to the adolescent criminal issue, from the perspective of the children’s right, based on the theoretical framework proposed by the Convention on the children’s Rights and putting it in comparison with national and regional normative solutions.
